AUPersonals makes use of the Secure Sockets Layer protocol to ensure the security of information transmitted online. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), also known as Merchant Operated Payment (MOP) exchanges a series of messages ("handshake") between your browser and the Web server, verifying the credentials of a Web site by means of a certified public decrypting key ("certificate"). If the certificate checks out, the browser indicates that the connection is secure (by showing a padlock symbol - see example below), and completes the transaction. 

When you provide your credit card information with each purchase, we pass your card details to Direct Payment Solutions (a New Zealand operated card processing service) before being transferred to your credit card company.  Your credit card details are not recorded on our server at any time (to protect your privacy and credit card security).
